Congratulations BGCELA "Making Life Easier" Scholarship Recipients
Contratulations to this year's 67 BGCELA Club Members who will receive their Making Life Easier scholarships on August 2nd. Thanks to Toyota Financial Services for supporting this program since 2007. This has benefited over 225 Club alumni and is really making a difference in our community.
Manchester City Football Club Hosts Beach BBQ for BGCELA
Thanks to the Manchester City Football Club for hosting a beach BBQ and soccer clinic for our Club members. For many of them this is their first time at the beach. They will certainly enjoy the opportunity to train with this year's FA Cup winners. We appreciate Man City for making this week unforgettable for BGCELA Club members. Click here for details.

New Soccer Field Coming to BGCELA
Manchester City Football Club and the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in Washington D.C. have joined forces to donate a new soccer field for the Boys & Girls Clubs of East Los Angeles. Boys & Girls Clubs of East Los Angeles - Serves over 2,500 youth ages 5-18, primarily in the Local District 5 area of East Los Angeles and surrounding areas. Our after school programs help thousands of kids stay in school and encourage them to go on to higher education. We work with community organizations, civic and community leaders to structure programs that help youth and families in at-risk areas lead healthier, more productive lives.

Project MENTOR - 'Meeting Each Need To Optimize Results'
Sponsorship for one member/year
Only $1,000 (under $20/week, less than $3/day)
Project MENTOR is a 5-year plan that guides BGCELA members and their families on the path to higher education. It reinforces BGC's six core tenets plus unique programs specially designed for our own club's youth and their families. The cost is $1,000 per student per year.
